Herbert Art Gallery & Museum

The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is undergoing a major redevelopment. When complete in the first half of 2008 it will include major new exhibitions on the history of Coventry and displays of the visual arts and natural history collections as well as galleries for temporary exhibitions. The first phase of the development has already opened comprising a new gallery for temporary exhibitions, creative media studios and a new stylish café. Although only a small number of items from the collections are on display, the gallery is maintaining a full programme of events and activities.
