Amberley Working Museum


Amberley Working Museum is a 36 acre open-air site set in the heart of the South Downs. Dedicated to the industrial heritage of the South-East, exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and vintage bus service (both provide free nostalgic travel around site), the Connected Earth telecommunications hall, the EDF ENERGY Electricity hall, a printing workshop and much more. The museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the broom-maker, blacksmith and potter, plus a fabulous restaurant, gift shop and numerous picnic areas where the stunning surroundings can be enjoyed.

Opening Times: 20 Mar to 3 Nov Wed to Sun 10:00-17:00. Open BH and daily through school holidays.
Admission: Adult £6.75, Child £3.75, OAP/Student £6.00, Group rates available.
Location: On the B2139, between Arundel and Storrington. Adjacent to Amberley Railway Station.
