River & Rowing Museum


The River & Rowing Museum is situated in picturesque Henley-on-Thames. This award-winning Museum has three main themes, with galleries celebrating each one. The River Thames, the town of Henley-on-Thames and the sport of rowing are all brought to life with a fascinating collection of boats, objects and interactive displays.The famous E H Shepard drawings from The Wind in the Willows are recreated in a permanent exhibit with wonderful models and sets along with an audio guide relating Mr Toad´s adventures as you walk through this magical world. The museum has a programme of special exhibitions and events that run throughout the year.
