Canterbury Royal Museum & Art Gallery with Buffs Regimental Museum is in a splendid Victorian building, housing the city´s picture collections with recent acquisisions that include work by Jacob Epstein, Laura Knight, Henry Moore, John Piper and Roger de Grey. Also a gallery for TS Cooper, England´s finest cattle painter. The art gallery is a centre for the visual arts with a varied exhibitions programme. Here too is the Buffs Museum, a branch of The National Army Museum, which tells the story of one of England´s oldest infantry regiments and its worldwide service, with an extensive collection of medals, gallantry awards, uniforms and weapons
