Museum of Canterbury with Rupert Bear Museum is situated in the former medieval Poor Priests´ Hospital. Discover the story of Canterbury from Roman times to the present. Among the city´s treasures on display is the famous Canterbury Cross, and find out about the mysteries surrounding Christopher Marlowe´s life and death. It is also home to the Rupert Bear Museum, whose creator, Mary Tourtell lived in Canterbury.

Opening Times: Mon to Sat 10:30-17:00 plus Jun to end Sep Sun 13:30-17:00 (last admission 16:00). Closed Xmas & Good Friday.
Admission: Adult £3.30, Concession £2.20, Family £8.70 (until 31.3.2007).
Location: In town centre, situated in the Medieval Poor Priests´ Hospital, just off St Margaret´s Street or High Street and within easy walking distance of Cathedral.
