Southampton Maritime Museum

Southampton Maritime Museum is situated on Town Quay Road. The Wool House was built as a warehouse for the medieval wool trade. It is now a museum telling the story of the Port of Southampton and the great liners that sailed from here to all parts of the world. One of the highlights is the Titanic Voices Exhibition, telling the real story of the Titanic through original artefacts and the voices of local people whose lives were affected by the tragedy. In the Queen Mary exhibition is an enormous model celebrating one of the world´s greatest liners and shows the luxury of transatlantic travel.
