Morwellham Heritage Centre


The greatest copper port in Queen Victoria´s empire lies 23 miles inland. The Tamar ketch ´Garlandstone´ is moored at the quay; original cottages, shops and hostelry. 1860s costumed staff welcome visitors and host guided tours. Explore one of the copper mines travelling by tram deep underground. In grounds extending to 150 acres enjoy carriage rides; a visit to the farm; the wildlife reserve.
