Stockwood Discovery Centre

The Stockwood Discovery Centre - With interactive display, variety of gardens, children play area, bee gallery and much more, it is a wonderful visitor attraction and museum. Collection highlights include the internationally famous Wenlok Jug, the nationally important Shillington gold coin hoard and the Mossman collection – Britain’s largest public collection of horse-drawn vehicles. Visitors can also relax in the Garden café or browse around the gift shop after their visit. A paradise for garden enthusiasts, Stockwood Discovery Centre is one of the few places in the country where the work of acclaimed artist Ian Hamilton Finlay can be seen on permanent display.
