Bristol´s City Museum & Art Gallery

Bristol City is the region´s largest Museum and Art Gallery housing an outstanding and diverse range of objects. There is a choice of galleries full of spectacular collections of regional, national and international importance. Some of the treasures include minerals and fossils, Far Eastern art, wildlife galleries, archaeology, ceramics and glass along with seven galleries of art. In the Egyptology gallery are real mummies and next door is the 3000 year old impressive wall decoration - the Assyrain Reliefs. Assorted temporary exhibitions and special events are held throughout the year.
