ABode Manchester is part of the following Editors' Picks:
"Manchester grew rich on the cotton trade with the United States. In fact it was dubbed Cottonopolis in the nineteenth century because more cotton was traded here than anywhere else in the world. The new Abode Hotel is situated in what was once a cotton trader’s warehouse adjacent to Piccadilly station, which at the time was the busiest in Britain outside London. You can see touches of the old Victorian cotton building in the red brick facade and the cast-iron columns that held up the floors."
"Situated right in the centre of the city this hotel offers a Girls Night In. Staying in an amazing suite the package includes a cocktail master class in the Champagne Bar followed by a three course meal. Afterwards you can settle down to watch movies in your own private cinema situated in the suite with popcorn included."
