Taychreggan is a deeply relaxing and secluded country house hotel, beautifully situated in its own bay on the shores of Loch Awe. Originally a humble 17th century drover´s inn, it has been tastefully updated and the view through the windows over the water is superb. There are eighteen bedrooms, some with four posters, with many overlooking the loch. The inn was named one of the most romantic hotels in Scotland by AA and has an award-winning restaurant. Surrounded by mountain grandeur, loch, forests and an abundance of wildlife, it is an ideal venue for the walker, fisherman, cyclist or photographer.
