Glenapp Castle is part of the following Travel Ideas:
"Step back in time at this glorious Scottish Baronial Castle with 17 bedrooms. The sea views here are fabulous, not only taking in the rolling waves of the Irish Sea but the huge granite rock of Ailsa Craig, the island of Arran and the Mull of Kintyre. Enjoy them from the vantage point of one of two palatial Master Rooms, The Earl of Inchcape and The Earl of Orkney."
"Golden wedding anniversary: Where could possibly be grand enough for this landmark anniversary? A castle! Step forward Glenapp Castle in Scotland, which overlooks the sea across to the Mull of Kintyre and is the sort of place you imagine kings and queens hang out on holiday. It’s filled with antiques and has the obligatory large fireplaces and oil paintings that befit a baronial castle. However, although a stay here is a little bit like stepping back in time, it’s still warm and friendly and you don’t feel like you’re in a museum. Bedrooms are huge and you’ll love lying on your bed and gazing through the long windows across the grounds to the sparkling sea beyond."
"Hidden away in 36 acres of countryside and overlooking the Irish Sea this is a fairytale castle in every sense of the word. Sleep like a King and a Queen in a four poster, or a canopied bed in the castle’s individually decorated and lovingly furnished rooms. In the evening stroll in the moonlight around the private grounds before enjoying the award winning cuisine of the castle."
