The Braye Beach Hotel has one of the most spectacular views you could wish for, standing picture-perfect on the edge of Alderney's finest sandy beach. The stylish bedrooms are furnished to the same high standard and attention to detail that is seen throughout the hotel, many offering spectacular sea views and balconies across Braye Beach. Boasting lovely views right across the bay, the stylish restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Other facilities include comfy lounges, a residents’ private cinema and complimentary wireless broadband access throughout the hotel.

Braye Beach Hotel is part of the following Editors' Picks:

Ten of the Best British Beach-side Hotels by Dinah Hatch

"Book yourself a room with a balcony at The Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney and you won’t need much spending money for your holiday – you won’t want to move from the view (especially since they, in a rather civilised fashion, provide you with a decanter of sherry in your room). And, as you might expect given the Braye’s location, there is some wonderful seafood to be consumed in the restaurant too. If you can bear to depart this bolthole, rent a bike and go explore all three miles of this lovely, sandy-beach island – you’ll still have time to get back for afternoon tea!"

The Top Ten British Island Mini Breaks by Amanda Statham

"This beachside escape is mini break heaven: white sand beach a pebble’s throw away, rooms with sea view balconies and a restaurant serving particularly good seafood. Basically, you can arrive here (via a quick ferry journey from Guernsey or Jersey) and you don’t need to move until it’s time to pack up and go home. However if you do want to do more on your long weekend, Alderney is tiny (three miles long!) so it’s easy to spend a day exploring the whole island by bike and be back in time for a slap-up supper by the sea. Bliss."

The Fifteen Best Island Hotels by Greg Cook

"The most northerly of the Channel Islands is closer to the shores of France than England, but feels a world away from anywhere. Being only 3-miles long and 1.5 miles wide, you’ll never feel far from the sea on Alderney, this is particularly true for those staying at the Braye Beach Hotel, virtually glued to the edge of a sweeping curve of white sand that nearly meets your doorstep. Braye Beach offers the highest standards of food, accommodation and service, all set beside sky-blue waters on a beach that children and adults alike are certain to fall in love with."

Beautiful location, superb hotel and wonderful staff. We were looked after so well and every aspect of our holiday was brilliant. We shall certainly be returning next year. Particular thanks to Richard Proctor who was an absolute gentleman.
