Arundel Castle
The medieval Arundel Castle, dating back to the Norman Conquest has been and is the home of the Dukes of Norfolk and Earls of Arundel. There are amazing artefacts to see, collected by successive Dukes on the `Grand Tour´. Pictures on show are works by Van Dyck, Reynolds and Gainsborough. One historical not to be missed is the Rosary Worn by Mary Queen of Scots at her execution and bequeathed to the Duke´s family. Outside the Castle there are extensive grounds with restored Victorian Gardens on view. Come, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a Stately but family home.
