Belton House
Belton House was built in the 17th century and is a crowning achievement of Restoration architecture. The stunning interiors contain exceptionally fine plasterwork and woodcarving, as well as important collections of paintings, furniture, tapestries and silverware. The chapel is in the east wing with family gallery and withdrawing room which has survived from the original house. There are formal gardens, an Orangery and a landscaped park with lakeside walk.
