Melford Hall

Melford Hall is one of East Anglia´s most celebrated Elizabethan houses that has changed little since 1578, and has been the home of the Hyde Parker family since 1786. The original panelling is still in the banqueting hall, which is filled with family portraits, also a Regency library, Victorian bedrooms and a fine collection of furniture and porcelain. On display is a small collection of memorabilia from Beatrix Potter, who was related to the Hyde Parker family. The garden contains some spectacular specimen trees and a banqueting house.
