Arlington Court

Arlington Court was the home of Miss Rosalie Chichester for 84 years until 1949, and the house is crowded with treasures amassed on her travels. The collections include model ships, porcelain, pewter, tapestry and shells. In the basement you can view, via the `batcam´, Devon´s largest colony of Lesser Horseshoe bats. The stable block houses one of the best collections of 19th century horse-drawn vehicles in the country. The 30 acre gardens are largely formal but include a small Victorian garden with conservatory and ornamental pond.
