Renishaw Hall
Renshaw Hall has been the home of the Sitwell family for over 350 years. The Performing Art Gallery was the brain child of Penelope Sitwell, and this unique gallery celebrates the glamourous worlds of the performing arts with pictures, gowns and personal mementoes of the stars of the silver screen and stage. The John Piper Art Gallery houses a collection of paintings by the war time artist John Piper. Also on display is a collection of costumes, gowns, uniforms, staff clothing and photographs belonging to the Sitwell family, along with many personal items.
