The medieval Tudor and Georgian Dalemain Historic House has been home to the Hasell family since 1679 with an interior that has not changed since the 18th century. The entrance hall has a shallow staircase made of local oak, and collections of china, furniture and family portraits are featured. The 5 acre gardens have herbaceous borders and a Rose Walk with over 100 old fashioned roses. The wild garden has a mass of flowering shrubs and wild flowers.
