Antony

Antony has been the home of the Carew family for almost 600 years. The house is faced in Pentewan stone and flanked by colonnaded wings of mellow brick. On display are furniture, tapestries, and an extensive collection of family portraits and memorabilia. The grounds were landscaped by Repton and the formal garden has the National Collection of Day Lilies, fine summer borders and outstanding displays of flowering shrubs. Also an 18th century dovecote and 1789 Bath Pond House.
