Award winning Leighton Hall is the lived-in house of the famous furniture making Gillow dynasty. A visit to Leighton is an opportunity to unravel the fascinating past of this ancient, Lancashire family and wander through the spectacular grounds and pretty gardens. As well as the house and grounds Leighton has a children´s play area, caterpillar maze, plant conservatory and charming tea rooms. Leighton Hall can be found in the north of Lancashire nestling in a bowl of parkland against a backdrop of English Lake District hills. The Hall is open to the general public from May to September, but pre-booked groups and private parties are welcome all year round.
