Cardiff Castle


At Cardiff Castle, discover 2000 years of history in the heart of the city. From the arrival of the Romans, through the Norman Conquest to lavish Victorian design - all have left their mark on the castle. Each room has its own theme, including Italian and Arabian decoration, with the Castle collections including original furnishings by the architect William Burges (1827-81). In the grounds peacocks and ducks wander freely. There is limited disabled access.
