Sledmere House


Sledmere House is a fine 18th century Georgian House designed and built by Sir Christopher Sykes, set in a Capability Brown inspired landscape, with award winning rose garden and parterre. Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Sheraton and French furniture, antique statues and paintings from the Renaissance to the present day. Famous pipe organ played Wednesday and Sunday during the season. Wagoner´s Museum housing a collection from a unique part of East Yorkshire´s military history.

Location: Sledmere House is situated an approximate half an hour drive form York, Beverley, Scarborough and Bridlington, off the A166 between York and Bridlington.
