Hamptworth Lodge

Hamptworth Lodge is a Grade II Jacobean style manor house, built by Harold Moffatt with the help of architect Guy Dawber, on the site of the original house. Most of the furniture and interior woodwork is by Moffatt. The heart of the house is the staircase hall and gallery, and the largest room is the Great Hall with its unusual roof. There are many displays of `apprentice pieces´, miniatures made by young carpenters. The house is now owned by Moffatt´s descendents and is available for corporate and private events.
