Berrington Hall

Berrington Hall is an elegant Henry Holland house built in the late 18th century and is set in parkland designed by Capability Brown. The rather plain exterior belies the fine interior which has beautifully decorated ceilings and a spectacular staircase hall which rises to a central dome. Collections of French furniture, paintings, clocks and small objets d´art, and one room has a display of costumes from the collection of Charles Paget Wade. The walled garden contains an historic collection of local apple trees.
