Kedleston Hall
Kedleston Hall is a classical Palladian mansion built in the mid-18th century for the Curzon family. The house has the most complete sequence of Robert Adam interiors in England with magnificent state rooms retaining great collections of paintings and original furniture. The Eastern Museum has a collection of Viceroy Curzon“s artefacts from India, including the celebrated `peacock dress“ worn by his wife. The partly restored gardens, also designed by Adam, include a fine bridge, fishing pavilion and a beautiful series of lakes.
