Dunham Massey Hall, Park & Garden

Dunham Massey Hall was originally an early Georgian house, which was extensively re-worked in the early 20th century. The result is one of the most sumptuous Edwardian interiors housing exceptional collections that include Huguenot silver, paintings and walnut furniture. Behind the Great Hall is a small chapel which is beautifully panelled. In the library is the Grinling Gibbons masterpiece `The Crucifixion´. Also an extensive below stairs complex. The gardens have richly planted borders and majestic trees, as well as an orangery, Victorian bark house and well house. The deer park contains a series of specimen trees.
