Hughenden Manor

Hughenden Manor was the home of Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli from 1848 until his death in 1881. Most of his furniture, pictures and books remain here, his private retreat from parliamentary life in London. On display is a collection of fascinating personal memorabilia of the life of the great statesman and writer. The surrounding park and woodland have lovely walks and the colourful formal garden is a recreation of the design by his wife Mary Anne Disraeli.
