Tatton Park
One of the most complete historic estates, Tatton Park was rebuilt in the late 18th century by Samuel Wyatt. The collections include family portraits, paintings, books, china, glass, silver and Egerton furniture specially commissioned from Gillow. The walls of the music room are hung with cherry-red silk damask. The library has a collection of over 8000 books with movable stairs, chairs and card tables. The garden of over 50 acres extends to a fernery, orangery, rose garden, pinetum, walled garden, and also Italian and Japanese gardens.
