Capesthorne Hall
Capesthorne Hall has been the home of the Bromley-Davenport family since Domesday times. After a disastrous fire, the hall was rebuilt in Victorian times around the core of an 18th century house, in grand Jacobean revival style. There are towers, domes and pinnacles which make an impressive sight. Collections include paintings, marble sculpture, furniture, family muniments and Americana. Gardens with herbaceous borders, a landscaped park with woodland walks and lake.
