Adlington Hall

The documented history of Adlington Hall can be traced as far back as the Domesday Survey when the Hall was passed to the Earl of Chester, a nephew of William the Conqueror. Since the year 1315 it has been home to the Legh family. Being one of the oldest and most historic Cheshire manor houses, and set amidst some of England's finest countryside, the Hall has evolved over 700 years encompassing both Tudor and Elizabethan architecture and boasts gardens of considerable size which contain a rich variety of man-made features combined in an oasis of tranquillity.
