Wimpole Hall & Home Farm

Wimpole Hall Farm is a magnificent 18th century house, reputed to be the largest in Cambridgeshire was built for the 3rd Earl of Hardwicke. The interior is a rich mixture of 18th century decoration, by the designers Gibbs, Flitcroft and Soane, with displays of fine furniture, paintings and porcelain. The Yellow Drawing Room, by Soane, is like a church nave with arches rising to a clear glass lantern above. The Great Barn has a collection of farm implements dating back 200 years. The restored garden includes a rose garden and there are extensive walks through the grounds.
