Chenies Manor House
Chenies Manor, a Grade I listed building, was formally known as Chenies Palace. This semi-fortified brick manor house was visited on numerous occasions by Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I and their courts. In the centre of the house is an unusual spiral staircase with a handrail carved into the brick.
