Woburn Abbey

Woburn Abbey has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for almost 450 years. It houses one of the most important private art collections that includes work by Van Dyck, Gainsborough, Reynolds and Velazquez, and 21 views of Venice by Canaletto can be seen in the Venetian Room. The Vaults contain beautiful porcelain from France, Japan, Germany, England and China, including the famous Sèvres dinner service given to the 4th Duchess by Louis XV. The 3000 acre deer park contains ten species of deer.
