Philorth Links, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, AB43 8TL

Fraserburgh Golf Club is one of Scotland’s oldest clubs and was founded in 1777 although records show a form of golf was played there as early as 1613. The present par 70, 6,308-yard Corbie Hill course was shaped by James Braid in 1922, 31 years after the club relocated to the Philorth Links, and features 12 par fours, nine under 400 yards in length. Exposed to both the Moray Firth and North Sea, 42 miles north from Aberdeen, an outstanding, historic links bordered by sand hills. It is complemented by the 2,500-yard par 33 nine-hole Rosehill course. The modernised clubhouse was constructed in 2006.
