John Jacobs, with assistance from Gary Player and Bernard Gallagher, designed Wentworth’s third and newest course in 1990 to complement the famous championship West Course and its almost-as-good East in an area of exceptional flora, fauna and wildlife. It developed quickly to host European Seniors Tour events. Sculpted in a mature wooded heathland setting like the others, each hole on the 7,000-yard par 72 course is distinctive with several dog-legs winding through trees towards the superb large greens protected by well-positioned bunkers. The 133-yard second hole over a ditch with three bunkers lurking demands precision. Strong par fives and demanding par fours complete a classic Surrey lay-out.

The Minimum numbers for golf events is 12 in winter, 20 in summer.
