The Harry Colt-designed club opened in 1911. A year later the club requested a railway station to be built nearby which is still known as “Denham Golf Club.” An airfield borders the course as well. A traditional parkland par 70 course spanning 6,527 yards, largely flat with some mild climbs, offers a wide variety of interesting holes and some blind shots. The front nine generally feels more open. It’s defence comes from numerous sand hazards. The 191-yard eighth and 135-yard 12th are well bunkered. Suitable for players of all standards as there are no hidden terrors and no endless searching for balls.
