Hawkstone Park Hotel & Golf Club

Formerly the Windmill, the Championship course, par 72, 6,763-yards, designed in 1995 by Brian Huggett, favours an American style with rolling fairways, mounds and water features. The notable hole is the dog-leg 517-yard 10th to a fairway that snakes round a lake requiring a shot to the green over the water. The original par 72, 6,497-yard Hawkstone parkland course, used since 1920, features the dramatic sandstone cliffs, with their world-famous Follies, as a spectacular backdrop to many holes. Attractive scenery, fairways lined with mature oak and birch, the 145-yard 12th hole, called the Moat, is memorable, played from an elevated tee to a small green.
