Notts Golf Club

One of the finest examples of heathland golf, Hollinwell is frequently used for major amateur competitions and has hosted the John Player Classic and the Haig, won by Nick Faldo. The pick of what is a long course, which is over 7,000 yards, has to be the 582 yard sixth, a great par five, the 408 yard eighth and the 13th, a terrific 228 yard par three, but look out for the huge rock which stands at the back of the second green and is known as Robin Hood's Chair. Heather and gorse line the fairways and surrounds the greens and there are silver birch and mature oaks as well plus lake which comes into play on occasion.

Notts Golf Club is available for both Corporate Golf Days and visiting parties alike. Groups are treated individually to meet the requirements both for the golf and entertaining in our upstairs dining room which caters for in excess of 80 covers. Additionally we have a smaller room ‘Tom’s Room’ for more informal dining. We are highly experienced in the organisation of Corporate Days and indeed have many existing clients who visit us annually. We do not offer all inclusive packages as in our experience each individual party has different requirements and our caterer is happy to provide and selection from soup and sandwiches to a silver service dinner with wine.
