Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club
Rugged Borth & Ynyslas, a founder member of the Welsh Golfing Union, is a traditional links championship course on Cardigan Bay dating from 1885. There are some frightening holes, narrow fairways between the beach and the coast road on a typical out and back links. When the wind blows off the sea, it’s a tough test although it is not long by today's standards. The 455-yard second situated between the road and sea is a monster. Rolling humps and hollows – the result of design changes made by Harry Colt in 1945 - and strategically placed bunkers add to the charm of a level, easy-to-walk course in a scenically beautiful area of West Wales.
