Gainsborough Golf Club (Karsten)

THE headquarters for Ping Europe, Gainsborough is a parkland course with many trees and the 6,724 Karsten Lakes course, designed by Neil Coles, and the 6,620 Thonock Park course are both good tests. Six and 17 are the pick of the lay-out on the Karsten course and water comes into play on several holes - the second at six is across a lake while 17 is a par three across water and the scenery on the back nine is phenomenal. The club has developed an excellent reputation for the quality of its courses, catering and the welcome extended to visitors.
