Littlestone Golf Club

Make your score going out as the opening nine are played with the prevailing South West wind at your back. Concludes with three tough holes. The 470-yard 16th is followed by one of the best par threes in the country played from an elevated tee to a green hidden amongst the dunes with a tiny landing area surrounded by pot bunker. At 182-yards it can demand anything from a short iron to a wood, according to the wind. The last, 499-yard par five defies, all but the longest hitters to reach the green in two. Constructed in 1888 on the edge of reclaimed Romney Marsh, a classic links featuring all the hazards of wind, thick rough, fiery weather, savage bunkers, true greens. Spectacular views from the higher spots. An Open final qualifying course.
