Kingussie Golf Club
Kingussie has spectacular views of the Cairngorms but it's not that difficult to walk with a couple of climbs at the fourth and eighth. The fairways are wide and while the River Gynack comes into play on some holes and the greens are superb. It's not a long course at only 5,615 yards and while the fairways are generous, position off the tee is the key to scoring. The 475 yard fourth (The Forta) is the signature hole and is the only par five. Kingussie is great value and has a lovely old clubhouse.
