Hadley Wood Golf Club

Quiet, peaceful and stylish set in the grounds of a historic Georgian mansion dating from 1781, the quality Dr Alister Mackenzie construction was used as an Open regional qualifying venue from 1999 to 2005. Raised plateau greens, some with double tiers and guarded by strategically placed bunkers, are features of the traditional design with lush fairways meandering among mature oaks and chestnuts. It spans 6,514 yards from the back tees with the traditional par 72 format of four fives and four threes. The 185-yard par three 10th with a 75 yard carry over a lake to a sloping green bordered by bunkers is the most memorable.
