Liphook Golf Club
Liphook can sometimes appear to resemble an inland links in the height of summer when the ground starts to firm up and plays shorter, but in reality it is a heathland gem. Set out over 6,167-yards, par 70, the start is difficult with a 200-yard par three followed by three further tough holes. The easy-walking course built on land provided by four Liphook landowners in 1922 combines a true test of golf with a real sense of golfing tradition. There are attractive views, notably on holes 11-13, Accuracy is vital off the tees to avoid the trees and heather and a great deal of patience and imagination is required on and around the greens where sharp borrows and slopes lead to three or even four putting.

Ties and jackets are the dress code. The Spike Bar is less formal with a more relaxed dress code than the Lounge. You can obtain hot or cold snacks to enjoy with your drink and, in the fine weather, you can take your refreshment onto the Terrace.
