Blackmoor Golf Club

Blackmoor was designed by Harry Colt in 1913 and has matured into one of Hampshire’s most attractive heathland courses. Originally just 12 holes, the planned extension to 18 holes was delayed until 1924 because of the First World War so the present lay out was only completed in 1984. Fine sandy soil, firm natural turf and heather make it an all-the-year-round course. The annual tournament highlight is the Selborne Salver each April. The course, bordered by groves of birch, runs in two loops of nine holes. Extensive drainage and fairway watering also ensures the best presentation of an excellent course.
