Kingsbarns Golf Links

Kingsbarns is a sensational new course along 1.5 miles of scenic coastline near St Andrews featuring the best in links golf. Kyle Phillips, who constructed the course in 2000, was able to draw on traditional links design, with revetted bunkers, using modern techniques. There are stunning views of the sea from every hole. The only Scottish course to be built on linksland for 70 years, it is now justifiably being compared to nearby St Andrews and Carnoustie. Measuring a frightening 7,126 yards – a mere 6,652 yards from medal tees - the spacious sandy fairways with disconcerting ridges and hollows, heather and wispy rough and magnificent true greens make playing the course an enriching experience.

A menu offering freshly prepared light snacks to main course meals is available throughout the day, together with a fully licensed beverage facility. Smoking is not permitted within the clubhouse. Disabled restroom facilities are located on the ground floor.

After passing through the village of Kingsbarns, the entrance to Kingsbarns Golf Links is sign posted on the left 800 yards (750m) beyond Back Style Road. Allow 20 minutes driving time.
