Overview

At over 7,000 yards, the Roxburghe is a real championship test and has hosted several top events. The Duke of Roxburghe, an avid golfer, commissioned Dave Thomas to build this challenging course and the result bears his distinct hallmark of deep bunkers and large rolling greens. The signature hole is the 14th played from an elevated tee commanding views of the River Teviot that hug the left of the fairway with an imposing viaduct in the background. The heart of the course are the par threes, play them well and you'll likely make a good score as three of them are around the 190 yards mark.
