East Devon Golf Club
East Devon provides superb coastal views as far as Portland Bill in Dorset on a fine day. A course both demanding and fair, the fairways are generous but a wayward drive will be punished. There are many public footpaths on and around the course so care needs to be taken. The fifth and 15th have split level greens, but the third is perhaps the most difficult hole at 411 yards and is well named Pine Coffin while the 414 yard 14th is also a test. The par three 10th is memorable and played from an elevated tee across a picturesque valley to a three-tiered green. The 16th 406-yard par four where an accurate drive is essential starts a downhill stroll back to the clubhouse. An outstanding venue.

Course Statistics: Superb greens spectacular views over English Channel. 18 holes, 6239 yards, S.S.S. 70. Green Fees: 18 holes £44, 27 or 36 holes £70 (day rate),Juniors (under 18) £15 per round. Please contact either the secretary or professional to confirm latest green fees. Visitors Info: Welcome. We respectfully request that all visitors to our club observe our dress code for both the course and clubhouse, which may be obtained from the Secretary or Professional prior to your visit. Please note that we do require proof of handicap. If you are considering a visit then please bear in mind that Tuesday is 'Ladies' day and Thursday is our 'Society' day. Club medal and stableford competitions take place on Saturdays. You should check with the club for tee times which may already have been reserved. For members and guests of members, no play is allowed before 8am on any day. Visitors may play from midday on weekdays and 1030 at weekends and Bank Holidays.
