Seaton Carew Golf Club

There are 22 holes at Seaton Carew, a lovely course in the industrial Teesside region and are a number of playing options. The Old course, an out and back layout, is the original design. The Brabazon course incorporates 14 of the original holes and the four new holes coming into play at the turn and with a par of 73 it's considered the championship course. It would be easy to be put off by the industrial chemical works, cranes and towers, but this is one of the best courses in the North. There are sand dunes, but there not huge, and the biggest problem is the blackthorn, whins, gorse, severe bunkering and the constant wind. The 17th is by far the best hole on the course with a long drive needed to be able to get at the raised green.
